Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FL7729 is a small molecule camptothecin analog currently in preclinical development by Canget BioTekpharma. It is a derivative of FL118, a potent anticancer compound designed to overcome treatment resistance by inhibiting the expression of multiple anti-apoptotic proteins, including survivin, Mcl-1, XIAP, and cIAP2. FL7729 is specifically being investigated for the treatment of retinoblastoma, where it has demonstrated in vitro activity. Like its parent compound, FL7729 is intended to induce apoptosis in cancer cells by suppressing key survival pathways that are often upregulated in solid tumors.
