Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Flairesse Varnish** is a professional, topical fluoride dental varnish manufactured by DMG for caries prevention, remineralization of incipient enamel lesions, and relief of dentine hypersensitivity. The clear, saliva-tolerant varnish contains fluoride at 22,600 ppm and xylitol; it forms a protective layer on tooth surfaces, seals exposed dentine tubules, supports enamel remineralization, and contributes to inhibition of cariogenic bacterial activity. It is supplied as mint- or melon-flavored single-use units for application by dental professionals. In a randomized controlled study in orthodontic patients with white-spot lesions during multibracket treatment, Flairesse fluoride varnish was evaluated against Icon resin infiltration.
