Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FLASH-001 is a structural nanomedicine incorporating toll-like receptor 9 agonists, developed by Flashpoint Therapeutics for immuno-oncology applications. It represents a new molecular entity designed to stimulate the immune system via activation of toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9), which plays a role in innate immunity and can promote anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being investigated primarily as an antineoplastic agent, with its lead indication being Merkel cell carcinoma. As of February 2025, it has reached Phase I/II clinical development for this cancer type[1][4].
