Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Flavolife 03 is a preclinical-stage small molecule pan-senolytic being developed by Flavolife for the treatment of lung cancer. It is based on a proprietary flavonoid scaffold platform designed to selectively eliminate senescent cells. Senescent cells are non-dividing cells that accumulate with age and in response to stressors, secreting pro-inflammatory factors (the senescence-associated secretory phenotype, or SASP) that can promote tumor progression and resistance to therapy. By targeting and clearing these cells, Flavolife 03 aims to improve outcomes in lung cancer patients. The specific molecular targets within the senescent cell survival pathways have not been disclosed by the developer.
