Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fleboside is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical product containing troxerutin and carbazochrome, developed and marketed by Acarpia Farmaceutici. Troxerutin is a bioflavonoid derivative of rutin that functions as a venotonic and capillary-protective agent, reducing capillary permeability and improving venous tone. Carbazochrome is a hemostatic agent that enhances capillary resistance and reduces bleeding time. The combination is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency and states of capillary fragility. It is available in Italy in both oral tablet and intramuscular injectable formulations.
