Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Flexiseq Sport is a branded, drug-free topical gel designed to relieve joint pain and stiffness and support mobility in people with active or sporting lifestyles by physically lubricating articular cartilage rather than exerting a pharmacological effect. The gel contains Sequessome vesicles, nanoscale lipid (phospholipid) droplets that, upon drying on the skin, deform and pass transdermally into synovial joints where they accumulate on cartilage surfaces and supplement the natural phospholipid lubricating layer, thereby reducing friction associated with joint wear and tear and osteoarthritis. This SEQ Tech-based formulation is marketed as a safer alternative to NSAID gels because it lacks active pharmaceutical ingredients, has minimal systemic exposure, and can be used alongside oral medications while providing clinically demonstrated improvements in joint pain, stiffness, and physical function in patients with joint wear and tear and osteoarthritis.
