Overview
Flexogan is a topical analgesic cream developed by AlphaRx Inc. for the temporary relief of muscle, joint, and arthritis pain. The product is a combination formulation containing camphor, menthol, and methyl salicylate. It utilizes AlphaRx's proprietary Bioadhesive Colloidal Dispersion (BCD) technology, a nano-delivery system designed to enhance the speed, depth, and sustained duration of drug penetration through the skin. Flexogan was approved for over-the-counter (OTC) sale in Canada and received marketing approval in Hong Kong in 2006. It is typically applied directly to the affected area 3-4 times daily.
