Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Florajen Kids is a refrigerated probiotic nutritional supplement specifically formulated for children starting at 6 months of age. Developed and manufactured by American Lifeline Inc., it contains a multiculture blend of probiotic bacterial strains, including *Bifidobacterium lactis* (strains Bi-07 and HN019), *Lactobacillus acidophilus* (NCFM), and *Lactobacillus rhamnosus* (HN001), providing over 6 billion live cultures per serving. As a live biotherapeutic product, it works by restoring beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby supporting digestive and immune health. It is primarily used to ease antibiotic-associated side effects such as diarrhea, maintain digestive regularity, and relieve occasional gas, bloating, and constipation. The product is available in vegetarian capsules that can be opened and sprinkled into cold food or beverages, as well as in a gummy form. It is designed to be allergen-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, and kosher.
