Research has demonstrated its potential as a neuraminidase inhibitor for anti-influenza therapy and its efficacy in treating chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), diarrhea, and inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis when used in combination therapies or traditional formulations.
