Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FLT3 CAR NK is a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by researchers at City of Hope. CytoImmune Therapeutics entered into a worldwide exclusive licensing agreement with City of Hope for the patent applications covering methods to generate large numbers of functional natural killer (NK) cells from umbilical cord blood and CAR compositions to target these NK cells to tumors. This cell therapy is designed to target Fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3)-expressing tumor cells, with its primary indication being acute myeloid leukemia. CytoImmune Therapeutics is advancing this technology into clinical trials.
