Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**FLT3-interleukin-2 chimeric antigen receptor gamma delta T cells** are an investigational, engineered allogeneic-compatible gamma delta T-cell therapy for **acute myeloid leukemia**. The cells express an FLT3-directed chimeric antigen receptor to recognize and kill FLT3-expressing leukemic cells, together with interleukin-2 expression intended to support effector-cell viability, stem cell-like memory phenotypes, cytokine production, persistence, and repeated tumor-cell killing. In reported preclinical AML models, the IL-2-expressing FLT3 CAR-gamma delta T-cell construct showed greater antileukemic activity and durability than FLT3 CAR-gamma delta T cells without IL-2 expression.
