Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fluarix-AS01E appears to be a non-standard or investigational formulation that combines the influenza vaccine (as in "Fluarix") with the AS01E adjuvant system. The canonical "Fluarix" is an inactivated influenza vaccine indicated for active immunization against disease caused by influenza A subtype viruses and type B viruses contained in the vaccine, approved for use in persons aged 6 months and older. The AS01E adjuvant is a liposome-based adjuvant system used to enhance immune responses, notably present in GSK's RSV vaccine Arexvy, but not currently part of any approved or marketed Fluarix formulation[1][3][5]. There are no regulatory approvals or official product information linking an influenza vaccine under the name "Fluarix-AS01E" as of May 2025.
