Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FluCell is a cell-based influenza vaccine developed by Crucell, utilizing its proprietary PER.C6® technology. Initially, worldwide commercial rights for FluCell were licensed to Sanofi Pasteur in December 2003, with Crucell retaining marketing rights only in Japan. In July 2010, Sanofi Pasteur returned these worldwide commercial rights to Crucell as part of a restructured partnership. This allowed Crucell to regain full control of its influenza program, which it intended to develop further with its partner Adimmune.
