Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fludarabine + Carmustine + Melphalan (FBMA) is a reduced intensity conditioning (RIC) regimen used prior to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant in patients with myelogenous leukemia. This combination chemotherapy aims to suppress the patient's immune system to prevent graft rejection and to eradicate residual malignant cells, thereby preparing the bone marrow for the engraftment of donor stem cells.
