Overview
Flumethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used in veterinary medicine to control ectoparasites such as ticks, mites, fleas, lice, and mosquitoes on animals like dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, goats, and horses. It is also used in beekeeping to control Varroa mites. Flumethrin works by blocking sodium channels in the nervous system of insects, causing disruption in nerve impulses, leading to paralysis and death.
