Overview

FluoAB is a fluorescently labeled human immunoglobulin G (IgG) probe developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences for intraoperative imaging of liver tumors. It is designed to assist surgeons during hepatectomy by providing real-time fluorescence guidance to distinguish between malignant tumor tissue and liver cirrhosis or normal parenchyma. The probe utilizes the accumulation properties of IgG within the tumor microenvironment to enable visualization under specialized imaging equipment. By enhancing the precision of surgical margins, FluoAB aims to improve the safety and effectiveness of hepatic cancer resections.
