Fluoride-free toothpaste

Fluoride-free toothpaste (GSK) refers to a non-medicated dentifrice formulation utilized by GSK as a negative control or placebo in clinical trials, particularly those evaluating the anti-caries efficacy of fluoride-containing products. This formulation lacks active fluoride ions (such as sodium fluoride or stannous fluoride) that are typically responsible for promoting enamel remineralization and inhibiting demineralization by bacteria.
