Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fluorine-18 siruipeptide is an F-18 labeled radiopharmaceutical peptide developed by Yantai Lananacheng Biotechnology, a subsidiary of Dongcheng Pharmaceuticals. It is designed as a diagnostic PET imaging agent targeting the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). The peptide exhibits high affinity and specificity for PSMA, which is overexpressed in prostate cancer cells, allowing for the detection of PSMA-positive lesions. It is primarily indicated for the initial staging of patients with suspected metastases and the localization of recurrence in patients with elevated PSA levels. As of early 2026, its New Drug Application (NDA) has been accepted by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
