Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cyplos Arvohaler is a combination inhalation therapy developed by Arven Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is delivered via a pressurized metered-dose inhaler (pMDI). The product contains two active ingredients: fluticasone propionate, a synthetic corticosteroid that acts as a glucocorticoid receptor agonist to reduce airway inflammation, and salmeterol, a long-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist (LABA) that provides prolonged bronchodilation by relaxing airway smooth muscle. This combination is designed to address both the inflammatory and bronchoconstrictive components of obstructive airway diseases.
