Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Fluval AB Novo** is a trivalent seasonal influenza vaccine developed by Fluart Innovative Vaccines for prevention of human influenza. The product evaluated in registered clinical studies contained 6 micrograms of hemagglutinin antigen per 0.5 mL dose from each of three influenza components: seasonal influenza A H1N1, influenza A H3N2, and influenza B; it was formulated with aluminium phosphate gel adjuvant. Intramuscular vaccination is intended to induce strain-specific adaptive immune responses, including hemagglutination-inhibiting antibodies directed principally against influenza hemagglutinin antigens. A completed Phase 3 pediatric and adolescent study evaluated immunogenicity, tolerability, and safety.
