Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Fluzone Intradermal** was Sanofi's seasonal, trivalent, inactivated split-virion influenza vaccine for intradermal administration. It was designed to induce protective immune responses to influenza A and influenza B viruses represented in each annual formulation, using a 0.1 mL intradermal microinjection in adults aged 18 through 64 years. The U.S. product was initially approved in 2011 and was subsequently replaced in practice by the distinct quadrivalent product, Fluzone Intradermal Quadrivalent; the original trivalent intradermal presentation is discontinued.
