Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Flynta is a film-coated tablet formulation of tadalafil, a small molecule phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is marketed by Apeks Pharma and manufactured by İlko İlaç. Tadalafil works by inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, which leads to increased levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the smooth muscle of the corpus cavernosum and the prostate, resulting in smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow. Flynta is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is available in 5 mg and 20 mg strengths and requires sexual stimulation to be effective for erectile dysfunction.
