Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FNP 150 is an investigational inhaled therapy being developed for the acute treatment of "OFF" episodes in patients with Parkinson's disease. It utilizes the proprietary Staccato One Breath Technology, a delivery platform that converts a small molecule drug into a thermal aerosol for deep lung inhalation. This method allows for rapid systemic absorption and quick onset of action, mimicking the pharmacokinetic profile of an intravenous injection. Originally developed by Alexza Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of Ferrer), the rights to the Staccato platform and its pipeline, including FNP 150, were acquired by Lee's Pharmaceutical Holdings in December 2025.
