Overview

folfiri + bevacizumab + QL1706 is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). The regimen combines the standard-of-care FOLFIRI chemotherapy (comprising folinic acid, fluorouracil, and irinotecan) and the anti-angiogenic agent bevacizumab with QL1706 (also known as iparomlimab). QL1706 is a novel bifunctional immunotherapy developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical using "Mab-Pair" technology, which simultaneously targets the PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints. This combination strategy is designed to enhance anti-tumor activity in patients with microsatellite stable (MSS) tumors, which are typically resistant to single-agent checkpoint inhibitors, by leveraging the synergistic effects of cytotoxic chemotherapy, VEGF inhibition, and dual checkpoint blockade. It is currently in Phase II/III clinical development as a second-line therapy for patients who have progressed on prior treatments.
