Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Folisan is an oral fixed-dose combination of three active B-vitamins: L-methylfolate (the active form of folate/vitamin B9), mecobalamin (the active form of vitamin B12), and pyridoxal 5-phosphate (the active form of vitamin B6). Developed by Sanrey Therapeutics, Folisan is primarily indicated for the management of nutritional deficiencies and neurological disorders, particularly peripheral neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy. By providing the biologically active forms of these essential vitamins, Folisan bypasses the metabolic conversion steps that can be impaired in certain individuals (such as those with MTHFR polymorphisms). These vitamins work synergistically to support nerve repair, maintain myelin sheath integrity, promote red blood cell production, and reduce elevated homocysteine levels, thereby supporting overall nervous system and cardiovascular health.
