Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Forarite is a branded generic combination inhalation therapy developed by Legency Remedies for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a fixed-dose combination containing budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), and formoterol fumarate, a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). Budesonide acts as an anti-inflammatory agent that reduces airway swelling and hyperresponsiveness, while formoterol functions as a bronchodilator by relaxing smooth muscle in the airways. Together, these components provide complementary dual action to improve lung function, prevent bronchospasms, and reduce the frequency of asthma and COPD exacerbations.
