Overview

FORC3 is a biologic feed additive developed by Axitan Limited for use in poultry and other livestock to control *Clostridium perfringens*, the causative agent of necrotic enteritis. The product is a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe)-affirmed dried powder formulated by combining specific endolysin enzymes with fatty acids and microalgae. FORC3 functions by enzymatically destroying the cell walls of *Clostridium perfringens* before the bacteria can colonize the bird's gut, providing an antibiotic-free alternative for pathogen management. It has demonstrated efficacy in reducing early-life mortality and improving growth performance metrics in poultry flocks.
