Overview

FORCE-M23D is a **preclinical antibody-oligonucleotide conjugate** from **Dyne Therapeutics** built on the company's FORCE platform for **Duchenne muscular dystrophy** research. It consists of a **transferrin receptor 1-targeting antigen-binding fragment** conjugated to **M23D**, a **phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligomer** designed to induce **exon 23 skipping** in **murine dystrophin pre-mRNA**, thereby restoring dystrophin expression in the mdx mouse model. In reported preclinical studies, the construct produced **dose-dependent exon skipping and dystrophin restoration in skeletal and cardiac muscle**. The agent is **mouse-specific** and appears to function primarily as a **research/preclinical surrogate** rather than a directly clinical human drug candidate.
