Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FortiVac-Dengue is a recombinant fusion protein vaccine candidate developed by Multimeric Biotherapeutics for the prevention of dengue fever. It utilizes the company's proprietary SPD-Antigen-CD40L platform, which incorporates a surfactant protein D (SPD) multimerization domain, dengue-specific antigens, and a CD40 ligand (CD40L) domain. This construct is designed to specifically target and activate CD40 on dendritic cells, thereby enhancing antigen cross-presentation and stimulating potent CD8+ T-cell mediated immunity. The program is currently in the IND-enabling preclinical stage of development.
