Fosunatovir (HEC110110) is a small molecule nucleoside phosphoramidate prodrug and direct-acting antiviral (DAA) developed by Guangdong Dongyangguang Pharmaceutical (HEC Pharm) for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. As an inhibitor of the HCV NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, it acts as a chain terminator to prevent the replication of the viral RNA genome. Fosunatovir is typically investigated as part of an all-oral combination therapy regimen, often paired with the NS5A inhibitor yimitasvir, to achieve a sustained virologic response across multiple HCV genotypes.
