FOXA1 siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to specifically target and silence the expression of the **Forkhead box protein A1 (FOXA1)**. FOXA1 is a pioneering transcription factor that plays a critical role in the development and progression of various malignancies, including ovarian, breast, and prostate cancers. In ovarian cancer, FOXA1 acts as an oncogenic driver by promoting cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). By inducing the degradation of FOXA1 mRNA through the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, FOXA1 siRNA reduces FOXA1 protein levels, which has been shown in preclinical models to inhibit tumor growth and enhance the efficacy of treatments such as carboplatin and immune checkpoint inhibitors like atezolizumab.
