FP-011

FP-011 is a sustained-release injectable formulation of goserelin, a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, developed by Foresee Pharmaceuticals. Utilizing Foresee's proprietary Stabilized Injectable Formulation (SIF) technology, FP-011 is designed to provide long-acting delivery of the peptide for the treatment of hormone-dependent conditions such as breast cancer and prostate cancer. Goserelin works by initially stimulating and subsequently down-regulating GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, which leads to a profound reduction in the secretion of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, thereby suppressing the production of estrogen and testosterone to castrate levels.
