Overview

FP-1096 (also known as PARDEL) is a small molecule drug developed as a novel treatment for endometriosis, a chronic and often painful condition in which tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside it. The drug was designed to reduce pain associated with endometriosis and demonstrated efficacy in clinical trials by significantly reducing painful symptoms with minimal side effects. Despite promising results in phase 3 studies, development of FP-1096 has been discontinued. The precise mechanism of action has not been publicly disclosed[1][2][3][9][10].
