Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FP014 is a multi-specific T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by Guangdong Fapon Biopharma for the treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Utilizing the company's proprietary Bi/Tri-TCE technology platform, FP014 is designed as a bispecific or trispecific antibody that simultaneously targets CD19 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on B-lineage cells while engaging the CD3 receptor on T cells. This dual-targeting strategy is intended to achieve a more comprehensive depletion of both B cells and long-lived plasma cells, which are key drivers of autoantibody production in SLE. By redirecting T-cell cytotoxicity toward these pathogenic cell populations, FP014 aims to reset the immune system and provide a potent therapeutic option for patients with autoimmune diseases.
