FPP003

FPP003 is an antibody-inducing peptide that targets interleukin-17A (IL-17A). It is designed to stimulate the body’s own immune system to produce antibodies against IL-17A, a cytokine implicated in inflammatory diseases. The drug is under joint development by FunPep, Osaka University, and Sumitomo Pharma. Its primary indications are psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis. FPP003 aims to offer a long-lasting therapeutic effect with longer administration intervals and greater convenience compared to existing monoclonal antibody drugs for these conditions. Clinical trials have reached Phase 2 for both psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis[1][2][3][4].
