Overview
**FPT155 + pembrolizumab** is an investigational combination therapy under clinical evaluation for advanced solid tumors, including advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The combination consists of FPT155, a recombinant fusion protein engineered to modulate the immune system by acting as both a CD28 agonist and a CTLA-4 inhibitor, and pembrolizumab, a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1. FPT155 is a CD80-Fc fusion protein (CD80 linked to the Fc domain of human IgG1), enhancing immune activation and synergizing with PD-1 blockade. Pembrolizumab (Keytruda) blocks the PD-1 receptor on T cells to enhance anti-tumor immune response. Combination treatment aims to maximize immune-mediated anti-tumor activity by targeting multiple immune checkpoints and co-stimulatory pathways[1][2].
