**FR peptide vaccine** is a multi-epitope peptide-based cancer vaccine designed to induce immunity against folate receptor alpha (FRα), an antigen overexpressed in various cancers such as ovarian and some breast cancers. The vaccine typically includes multiple synthetic peptides (FR30, FR56, FR76, FR113, FR238) derived from sequences of FRα and is administered with an immune adjuvant such as GM-CSF to enhance immune responses. Its mechanism is to stimulate antigen-specific T cell and, to a lesser extent, antibody responses against FRα-positive tumor cells, with the goal of reducing relapse and improving survival post-curative therapy. Clinical trials show it is well tolerated with mild to moderate toxicity and consistently induces T cell immunity in most vaccinated patients[4].
