Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FRD001 is an investigational ultrasonography enhancer developed for use as a contrast agent in ultrasound imaging, specifically for the evaluation of malignant ovarian masses in women. Its primary function is to improve the quality and diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound images by enhancing contrast between tissues. The drug was initially developed by Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). There is no evidence that it acts through a molecular target or receptor; its mechanism relates to physical enhancement of imaging rather than pharmacological modulation[1][2][7].
