**FREE001** is an investigational, fixed-dose combination of ketamine and temsirolimus being developed by Freedom Biosciences as an adjunctive treatment for adults with treatment-resistant depression who have had an inadequate response to at least two antidepressant therapies. Ketamine is a noncompetitive N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist, while temsirolimus binds FK506-binding protein 12 and inhibits mechanistic target of rapamycin signaling.
