Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Freneslerbart is one of two fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibodies in a 1:1 clinical mixture (REGN1908-1909) with mevonlerbart, developed by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals using VelocImmune transgenic mouse technology, specifically targeting Fel d 1, the major cat allergen responsible for allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. The cocktail neutralizes Fel d 1 to prevent its interaction with IgE antibodies, thereby reducing symptoms of cat allergy. It has advanced to Phase 3 trials for cat allergy, including allergic rhinitis, asthma, and allergic conjunctivitis, though some trials were terminated due to futility.[1][2][3][4]
