Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FrontlineODP Spray Dried Plasma is an investigational, shelf-stable, human plasma-derived biologic developed by Velico Medical for the treatment of traumatic hemorrhage and hemorrhagic shock. Produced from conventional donor plasma using the FrontlineODP System, the product is designed for use in pre-hospital settings, emergency medical services, and military applications where conventional frozen plasma is unavailable or impractical. It is shelf-stable for up to 24 months at room temperature and can be reconstituted in under three minutes with sterile water for injection. The development program is supported by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to address the critical need for immediate plasma availability in austere or rural environments to manage coagulopathy and improve survival in trauma patients.
