Overview
Fructose Diphosphate Sodium Injection is a small molecule metabolic regulator developed by Dalian Aosen Pharmaceutical (and manufactured by its subsidiary Dalian Mingsen Pharmaceutical). It contains fructose-1,6-diphosphate (FDP), a key intermediate in the glycolytic pathway. In conditions of ischemia and hypoxia, exogenous FDP acts by bypassing the rate-limiting enzyme phosphofructokinase, thereby maintaining high-energy phosphate levels (ATP and creatine phosphate) and supporting cellular metabolism. It also helps stabilize cell membranes, promotes potassium ion influx into cells, and reduces damage caused by oxygen free radicals. The drug is primarily indicated for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions, including angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, and myocardial ischemia associated with heart failure.
