Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FS-8002 is a bifunctional antibody fusion protein designed to inhibit both transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). It is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced malignant solid neoplasms, including late-stage or refractory solid tumors. The drug acts as a dual inhibitor, targeting TGF-β and VEGF pathways, which are implicated in tumor progression, angiogenesis, and immune evasion. Preclinical studies have shown significant anti-tumor activity. The drug is currently in phase 1 clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced solid tumors[1][3][10].
