FT-01

FT-01 is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor developed by Fekra Therapeutics that targets BMX (Bone Marrow X-linked) cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase. BMX is a member of the TEC family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases and is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, particularly in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). In these cancers, BMX signaling contributes to tumor cell survival, proliferation, and the development of resistance to standard androgen deprivation therapies. By selectively inhibiting the kinase activity of BMX, FT-01 is intended to disrupt these oncogenic pathways and provide a novel therapeutic strategy for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
