Overview

FT-6876 is an **oral small-molecule bromodomain inhibitor of CREB-binding protein and E1A binding protein p300** developed by Forma Therapeutics. It is a potent, selective CBP/p300 bromodomain inhibitor reported to inhibit the CBP and p300 bromodomains at low-nanomolar potency while showing strong selectivity over BRD4. In preclinical studies, FT-6876 reduced H3K27 acetylation and suppressed androgen receptor and estrogen receptor transcriptional programs, producing antitumor activity particularly in androgen receptor-positive tumor models such as triple-negative breast cancer and prostate cancer. The compound appears to have remained a preclinical research-stage asset, with the related clinical candidate FT-7051 advancing into human studies.
