Overview

FTB-918 is a first-in-class, dual-targeting antibody fusion (biologic) designed to simultaneously deplete pathogenic TRBV9+ CD8+ T cells and neutralize IL-17A. Developed by Fortitude Biomedicines, it is being investigated for the treatment of axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA). By targeting both a cellular driver (TRBV9 T-cell receptor) and a key inflammatory cytokine (IL-17A) in a single molecule, FTB-918 aims to address multiple disease-causing pathways and improve therapeutic efficacy in patients who fail to achieve adequate disease control with standard therapies. As of late 2026, the drug is in preclinical development, with clinical entry expected in the first half of 2027.
