Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FucoTILs are tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) that have been enhanced using TargaZyme's proprietary Cell Efficacy Multiplier Fucosylation Platform technology. This process increases the fucosylation of TILs, which significantly improves their trafficking and penetration into solid tumors—delivering 3-5 times more TILs to tumor sites compared to standard approaches. The increased presence of these immune cells in tumors enables a more effective attack on cancer cells. Preclinical data from institutions such as MD Anderson Cancer Center, Harvard, and the University of Pennsylvania indicate that FucoTILs may become an important therapy for late-stage cancer patients with solid tumors who have limited treatment options. The mechanism involves enhanced immune cell cytotoxicity through increased expression of Granzyme B, Perforin, and FASL, leading to improved tumor cell killing[2][8].
