Compound Caoshican Granules (Fufang Caoshican Keli) is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) indicated for the treatment of the common cold, cough, and sore throat. Developed and manufactured by Guizhou Bailing Group Pharmaceutical, the formulation contains extracts from *Stachys sieboldii* (Caoshican), *Ilex asprella* (Gangmei), *Platycodon grandiflorus* (Jiegeng), *Eriobotrya japonica* (Pipaye), and *Glycyrrhiza uralensis* (Gancao). It is pharmacologically characterized by its ability to clear heat, detoxify, and resolve phlegm. The drug is widely used in China for upper respiratory tract infections, where its herbal components work synergistically to reduce inflammation in the respiratory tract and facilitate the expulsion of mucus.
