Overview
Fufang Furong Paotengshuan (also known as Fufang Furong Effervescent Suppository) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) vaginal effervescent suppository developed and manufactured by Shaanxi Momentum Qixuehe Pharmaceutical. It is formulated from six herbal ingredients: Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen), Cnidii Fructus (Shechuangzi), Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex (Huangbai), Hibisci Mutabilis Folium (Mufurongye), Artemisiae Argyi Folium (Aiye), and Alumen (Baifan). The formulation is approved in China for the treatment of damp-heat pruritus vulvae, trichomonas vaginitis, mycotic vaginitis, and bacterial vaginosis. It has also been evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of aerobic vaginitis and mixed vaginitis, demonstrating efficacy in restoring vaginal microecological balance and promoting Lactobacillus recovery.
