Overview
Fufang Honghua Bujie Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound formula primarily indicated for the treatment of vitiligo. This multi-ingredient preparation contains active components from herbs such as *Carthamus tinctorius* (Honghua) and *Tribulus terrestris* (Bujie). Its therapeutic effects in vitiligo are attributed to a multi-target, multi-pathway mechanism. The drug works by promoting melanin production and deposition, reducing oxidative stress, inhibiting autoimmune responses against melanocytes, and decreasing melanocyte apoptosis. A key mechanism identified for Fufang Honghua Bujie Granules in vitiligo treatment involves the inhibition of the Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK/STAT) signaling pathway.
